ABOUT US
Gooseboys is your 3rd favorite nostalgic country party band. We play the stuff you actually want to hear: 90s/2000s country bangers and a pocketful of modern favorites, with just enough YEE HONK! for the honky tonk.
Fronted by Madi Shearer, the band features Justin Doe and Daniel Bell on guitars and vocals, Evan Trainor on drums and vocals, and Tyler Scott on bass; with founding drummer Phil Zitko supporting alongside his wife Becca as they raise our newest & youngest fan. The vibe is part front porch singalong, part full room party. Boots on the floor, hands in the air, tailfeathers shakin', and at least three people screaming the wrong lyrics with their whole chest.
The setlist runs from Shania Twain, Jo Dee Messina, and Brooks & Dunn to Stevie Wonder, Tyler Childers, and Olivia Dean. Since debuting, Gooseboys opened Sandbar Station’s Rock The Station benefit festival and headlined the Delaware County Fair. Expect a silly goose time that still sounds seriously good.
Fair warning: we're genuinely obsessed with animals beyond the name. Our lead singer has done wildlife rescue work, and for some shows, we raise money for local causes including the Ohio Bird Sanctuary and WOW in Cleveland.
